Quick Tips For Cleaning With Your Kids

Is your house looking a little worse for the wear? I mean, you’re doing such a beautiful job homeschooling your kids! You are giving it your best effort. You are investing in their hearts.  You want to see them succeed. You’ve added a lot of responsibility to your plate.

But you’re left feeling a little overwhelmed and drained with all of it. Hang tight mama! I hear you, as homesteaders, this time of year is jam packed for us too. So, I have something to bless you.

There’s something so refreshing about giving yourself permission to use half a day each week (for our family, it was Friday morning),  to teach your kids life skills through working alongside them to clean your house.

My thought was, I am investing in them intensely and intentionally … but in the process of them being home with me … all … the … time … , our home is looking a little more “well worn” than normal! Of course, it only makes sense to use some of our time each week to maintain our home that has become their schoolhouse.

In today’s super short video, I give you practical tips about how and why I implemented this practice. I also created a couple PDFs to help guide you on implementing your own practice that I know will help you feel refreshed and recharged.

Plus, you will be helping to teach your kids the valuable skills of responsibility and working well together as a family unit.

This homeschool thing is a family endeavor, it’s not meant for you as mom to carry all of the responsibility. There’s something wonderful about creating a vibe that shows your kids you’re all in this new journey together??!

Ready Mom, let’s do this!
